Avrieux is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France.

Avrieux has a humid continental climate (Köppen climate classification Dfb). The average annual temperature in Avrieux is 8.5 °C (47.3 °F). The average annual rainfall is 600.4 mm (23.64 in) with November as the wettest month. The temperatures are highest on average in July, at around 18.0 °C (64.4 °F), and lowest in January, at around −0.9 °C (30.4 °F).
