The 2024 season will be the New York Jets ' upcoming 55th season in the National Football League (NFL), their 65th overall, their sixth under general manager Joe Douglas and their fourth under head coach Robert Saleh . The Jets are looking to improve on their 7–10 record from 2022 and 2023 , return to the playoffs for the first time since 2010 , and end the longest active playoff drought in American professional sports. They will also attempt to put an end to 8 consecutive losing records.
